We’re finalists at the Midlands Family Business Awards!

Flame UK are nominated for three awards in total at this year’s awards as well as sponsoring the Sustainability Award.

• Best Small Family Business (Sponsored by Ward Recycling): This award recognises small family businesses in the Midlands who place family values at the heart of their business. It looks at how businesses balance the interests of the family and the business.
• Employer of the Year (Sponsored by Recruit 2 You): This award recognises family businesses that are putting people at the heart of their organisation. It looks at how businesses are using family values to improve workplace cultures and employee wellbeing, making their business the employer of choice.
• People’s Choice Awards (Sponsored by Streets Chartered Accountants): As we’re nominated for two awards, we’re also nominated for the People’s Choice Awards. This award is decided purely by the Public Vote. This award covers family businesses across the Midlands who are committed to making a difference in their communities.

In addition to a nomination for three awards, we’re also sponsoring the Sustainability Award at this year’s event. This award recognises businesses working towards a more sustainable future in every aspect of their business, from its operations to its impact on the community. As a waste management broker, we know how important it is to ensure we’re creating a more sustainable future. We’re constantly working to help our customers on their sustainability journey as well as working on our own. We believe it’s incredibly important that businesses are doing what they can to become more sustainable. So we’re proud to be sponsoring this award.
