Flame UK wins award at East Midlands Chamber Awards

Flame UK, announced as a finalist back in July, went through rounds of face-to-face judging with the Chamber judges to show why we should be recognised for each award. Flame UK received The Business Improvement through Technology award on the night. Sponsored by Air IT, this award recognises businesses who are integrating and using technology within their organisation to help drive forward customer service by using technology to meet every customer’s needs.

Through the implementation of the new ‘chat box’ feature on our website, we have been able to streamline the customer journey to ensure that every customer’s needs are met as efficiently as possible. Our use of technology means that we can respond to even more business enquiries, helping every customer with their waste management requirements.

Flame UK were also finalists for three other awards including:

• Environmental Impact, sponsored by JG Pears, which recognises businesses who are demonstrating a commitment to making a positive impact on the environment. Flame UK provide one of the first carbon neutral waste collection services in the UK and are committed to providing more sustainable waste management options for businesses.
• Apprentice of the Year for our Digital Marketing Apprentice, Kane O’Neill. This award, sponsored by EMA Training, acknowledges Apprentices who have made an exceptional contribution to their organisations.
• Small Business of the Year, sponsored by Nottingham Trent University, which recognises different small businesses across the county which have achieved consistent growth. Flame UK have been able to provide many businesses across the county with the most sustainable option for their waste management.
