Flame UK at RWM LetsRecycleLive show

Keeping up to date on waste innovations

Some of our team attended the RWM Letsrecycle show at the NEC this week. It's a great opportunity to keep up to date with what's happening in the waste industry and get new ideas to help our clients. What a great day – we spoke to lots of people in the waste industry; found out about new innovations; saw demonstrations of new waste equipment; and listened to talks on upcoming legislation.

This is a great expo for anyone in the industry or with an interest in recycling and innovations.  Read more about our day and what we got up to:

Waste Price Watch

Each issue we bring you the latest market prices for recycling; plus the cost of PRN (Packaging Recycling Note) and landfill fees.

Focus on sports event waste

Waste and recycling in sports

Stage five of the Tour of Britain came right past our office door last week, drawing hundreds of spectators.  But what happens to the tonnes of waste they generate?  We had a look at how sporting events such as marathons and cycling races can better manage the waste and become more sustainable.

We're also supporting local sports teams become greener – starting with our sponsored football team, Barton Town FC.   Read  more about how they are making efforts to become greener.
